2007 Watershed Summit on Short Mountain, Sept. 14-16.
The first annual Summit was conceived by the Stones River Watershed Association and implemented in partnership with the Caney Fork Watershed Association. The idea for the summit developed at an SRWA planning meeting when participants marvelled at the fact that Short Mountain, itself a remarkable and significant natural feature, formed headwaters for three watersheds: the Stones, Caney Fork and Collins Rivers.
